Trip to London

Yes - we left our smallholding and flew off to London for the BMC YCS 209 Final (British Moutaineering Council Youth Climbing Series.) It's the first year that Mountaineering Ireland has been able to enter a team so it was kind of a big deal.

It was a good day, we met up with old friends from the North East climbing Team that Ellie used to climb with before we moved,

Time was pretty tight between spending the whole day at the climbing, but we managed to squeeze in a whistle-stop sightseeing tour on Saturday en-route back to Gatwick.

Yes, I was sleep-deprived and that rucsack was really heavy !!
